Merredin Markets What's On

The Merredin Markets are a community driven event, organised by staff of the Merredin CRC and run by volunteers. The purpose of the Merredin Markets is to have a consistent monthly event for the community, whether it is supporting local small business’s by setting up a stall to sell their products or for members of the public to have a day out and enjoy the sun while shopping the variety of stalls available.

Merredin Whoosh

Hop on board our spaceship and get ready for the blast off! Whoosh! is an immersive and multi-sensory performance that puts children at the centre of the action. Kids board a stunning custom-built spaceship to co-pilot an interstellar adventure.

Created by pioneering theatre makers Sensorium Theatre, this highly-tailored production is suitable for children with a broad range of access needs aged 5years+, including those with multiple and complex needs and those on the autism spectrum.

Merredin Possum Magic

Merredin Roman Rudnytsky

Internationally renowned pianist and virtuoso, Roman Rudnytsky, performers at the Cummins Theatre for one show only.

Roman Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background whose performances take him all over the world.
A graduate of the famous Juilliard School in New York, he has as of 2017 played in about 100 countries.

This concert will include works by Brahms, Chopin, Liszt and more.   CD’s will be available to purchase on the night.

Merredin Rep Club Presents "Allo, Allo"

"Leesen very carefully- I shall say this only once!" Based on the hugely popular TV comedy series, the stage version of Allo Allo follows the adventures of Rene, the hapless cafe owner in war-torn occupied France, as he and his wife, Edith, struggle to keep for themselves a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis and kept in a sausage in their cellar. Rene will need all the wit he can muster to save his cafe and his life.

Merredin Isaiah Live & Beyond

ISAIAH: LIVE & BEYOND
Hot on the heels of his return from the Ukraine, Isaiah Australia’s top ten ranked 2017 Eurovision Song Contest finalist will be touring Australia with his 4 piece band in his new 2 hour concert spectacular.

Hailing from the small country town of Moama in Southern NSW, 17 year old Isaiah first stepped into the spotlight last year when he was crowned winner of The X Factor Australia 2016 after performing Beyoncé’s ‘Halo’, Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up’ with Jessica Mauboy and his winner’s single ‘It’s Gotta Be You’.

His winner’s single peaked at number 26 on the Australian Singles Chart. The song also charted in Denmark, Netherlands, New Zealand and Sweden. Isaiah’s story is one of determination and passion for music, honing his craft with six hour round trips from his regional town to singing lessons every week, aspiring to become a professional artist. Isaiah is already experiencing global success, with his first hit ‘It’s Gotta Be You’ going Platinum in Sweden, and charting in over 15 countries including Australia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Canada, and the US. In December 2016, Isaiah released his debut studio album ‘Isaiah’. The album peaked at number 12 on the Australian Album Chart.

His entry ‘Don’t Come Easy’ for Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was written by DNA Songs, who also composed Dami Im’s acclaimed entry ’Sound of Silence’.

ISAIAH: LIVE & BEYOND
